Getting to the clinic

Heading south through town, make a left at the traffic circle (glorietta) just past the HSBC bank. Take Alpha (Alfa) and then make a right on Mercurio. The clinic is a blue, two-story building. (Thanks Google Earth!)

  1. Dear Dr. Juan,

Annie told me you are her vet in Tulum and that you're a great man who helps animals in the area.

I would like to ask for your help. I'm visiting Tulum on my honeymoon and have come across 3 dogs who need help.

The first is a medium size, short haired, tan dog - female. She looks thin and seems to be nursing. She wonders around the little shop called Shalom. She looks hungry and I am worried about her, and if she is nursing, about the puppies.

The second is a medium sized male dog - short haired - darker in color. He was walking with a little girl by the local homes in Tulum - close to the main street. He was bleeding from small open wounds all over his ears and body. He had no collar on and it was clear he was in bad shape.

The third was in Coba. I know this is a bit far but I'm very concerned and it would be wonderful if you could help or pass this along to someone in Coba that can assist. It was a small, very sick, very thin dog. Looked like he was about 3 or 4 pounds, and was eating the meat of something that had been run over in the middle of the street. This little dog had very little hair left and very terrified when we tried to get it out of the road. Though sick - I think this little dog still deserves help.

I'll try calling you as well.

    Thank you SO much!
